Slave Trade Abolition website launched

St John's launches website with teaching resources on Slave Trade Abolition for primary and secondary schools

In 2008 the College managed a Heritage Lottery Fund project to provide innovative teaching resources on the Trans-Atlantic slave trade and its abolition. Those resources, for Key Stages 1-3, focus on the lives and achievements of Olaudah Equiano and Thomas Clarkson, and are now freely available at: http://www.slavetradeabolition.org/.
