Thomas George Bonney, Fellow of St John’s College (1833-1923): sermon on Deuteronomy xxxiv.4, preached in the Chapel of St John’s College on 29 May 1881 after an unsuccessful candidature in the Mastership election that year. Bonney was leaving Cambridge to work in London. See Bonney’s published memoirs, Memories of a long life (Cambridge, 1921), pp. 42-3.
