Books are purchased after recommendation by Directors of Studies, by Fellows of the College and by students. For recommendations made by other members of the College, and other readers, purchase is not automatic.  However, all suggestions will be considered carefully and, wherever appropriate, advice will be sought from senior members of College working in a relevant subject area.
