Springboard is a growing technical consultancy (currently 14 people) specialising in regulated industries. We perform practical and analytical work to develop new products and technologies. Many projects are in the medical device industry for global companies.

The Opportunity
Role
The role will involve a mixture of designing devices and test rigs, gathering data, inventing around problems, making prototypes and equipment, analysing data, modelling, using physics and engineering to develop better devices. The intern will also have the opportunity to experience aspects beyond the technical work, such as presentations to clients and project management
Requirements
Requirements
The ideal intern will be studying mechanical engineering, physics or materials science and will have a curious and inventive attitude. The student should be able to tackle both practical and analytical challenges, and be willing to explain their findings clearly to clients.
