Morna was born in Beddington. She went to Bristol University where she graduated with first class honours in theology, and then earned her MA. She worked for a PhD degree at the University of Manchester, then at the University of Durham.

She became a Research Fellow in Arts at Durham. In 1961 she was elected into a temporary, then permanent lectureship at King's College London. In 1970, she left for a lectureship in Theology at University of Oxford, with a fellowship at Linacre College, Oxford. She was Lady Margaret's Professor of Divinity within the University of Cambridge from 1976 to 1998, becoming the first woman to hold the Cambridge degree of D.D., and as of 1998 is Professor Emerita. She holds honorary doctorates from the University of Bristol (1994) and the University of Edinburgh (1997).

She remains a Fellow of Robinson College, having joined the fellowship as a founding Fellow in 1977, and is also a Fellow of King's College London (1979) and an honorary Fellow of Linacre College, Oxford.

Bishop Graeme Knowles was ordained in 1974, and served in a sequence of cathedral, parish and diocesan roles until becoming Dean of Carlisle in 1999. In 2003 he became Bishop of Sodor and Man, moving from there to become Dean of St Paul’s Cathedral where he served until 2011. He is an Honorary Assistant Bishop in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury; he also recently served as Acting Dean of Chichester.

Martin Alan Seeley is a Church of England bishop. Since May 2015, he has been the Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich. From 2006 to 2015, he was the Principal of Westcott House, Cambridge.

Gemma Simmonds is a sister of the Congregation of Jesus.  She is a senior research fellow at the Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology in Cambridge, UK, where she is director of the Religious Life Institute, teaching Christian spirituality and pastoral theology. An international speaker and lecturer, she is an honorary fellow of Durham University, past president of the Catholic Theological Association of Great Britain and chair of trustees of the ecumenical Community of St. Anselm based at Lambeth Palace, London.  Gemma is an ecumenical canon of the Church in Wales and lectured in theology at Heythrop College, University of London from 2005 until its closure in 2018, specialising in Christian spirituality.  She has trained candidates for religious life and ordination in the Catholic and Anglican churches and been a spiritual director and retreat giver for over 30 years.

Gemma has been a missionary in Brazil, a chaplain in the Universities of Cambridge and London and a chaplaincy volunteer in Holloway Prison for 25 years.  She is a regular broadcaster on religious matters on the BBC, Radio Maria England and other radio and television networks.

David Griffiths is an associate fellow of the International Law Programme and a consultant on human rights strategy. He is also a member of the OSCE’s Panel of Experts on Freedom of Religion or Belief.

Previously, David worked at Amnesty International as director of the Office of the Secretary General, and, before that, as that organization’s deputy director for Asia where he began the process of establishing a regional office in Sri Lanka.

                 Coptic Orthodox Archbishop of London   

On 18 November 2017, His Eminence Archbishop Angaelos was enthroned as the first Coptic Orthodox Archbishop of London, having served as General Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the United Kingdom since 1999. In addition to this new role, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Saint Mark, has also seen it fit that he continue representing the Church in the United Kingdom at the ecumenical and official level as Papal Legate, and thus conferred him with the ecclesial title of Archbishop of London.
