Francis Pierpoint Burton Norman Hutton, of St John's College (1826-84): journal of his life at Cambridge, 1846-9, including an account of a northern tour and a visit to Cambridge Assizes. Heavily illustrated with pen-and-ink sketches, often humorous, of people and views, some water-colours, and further drawings by the Revd Thomas Biddulph Hutton, for whom the diary was apparently written. T. B. Hutton was then working in New Zealand with George Augustus Selwyn, subsequently Bishop of Lichfield.
