'Apologia Turrecrematae Bellarmini et Eugenianae factionis theologorum, pro suprema Iurisdictione Conciliorum Generalium contra Romanorum Pontificum à tempore Eugenii quarti, haereticè et iniustè usurpatam tyrannidem in Concilia Oecumenia usurpatam, quae est Disputatio Theologica apologetica ... per Eusebium Germanum Catholicum, Apostolicum, Romanum Sacerdotem, S. Theologiae Doctorem Prostant Cosmopoli in aedibus Timothei Philalethis anno Domini 1620, Kalendis Januariis', a work in ten chapters. The colophon at fo. 131v reads: 'Finis tractatus primi 1620 Kalendis Januarii. Omnia submito Catholicae Romanae ecclesiae iudicio'.

214x167 mm. in modern binding. 135 fos (12, 132-5 blank). On fo. 1r, in Thomas Baker's hand, 'Liber olim ornatiss: viri Thomae Wagstaff', and 'Tho: Baker dedit Coll: Jo: socius ejectus'. Small College bookplate (eighteenth century) on fo. 1v.

At least three separate hands. A clean copy with very few corrections. Paper. Rebound in quarter leather on boards with marbled paper sides by John P. Gray & Son, Sep. 1972 (note inside back cover).
