St John’s College wishes to appoint a Student Services Officer to be responsible for providing a high level of support to students in order to ensure the efficient operation of the College’s central Student Services facility.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with the relevant skills and experience looking to develop their career in the area of Student Support. In this role you will provide front-line support for all student queries covering a variety of areas and will provide guidance on issues such as accommodation, billing, grants and records. You will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Student Services facility and will assist with the continual development and review of the service. You will also produce content for the College website on matters relating to Student Services, contribute to ad-hoc project work, analyse statistics and write reports as required.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within higher education. The role requires a highly motivated, proactive and well-organised individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also need excellent IT skills and a flexible approach to work. Previous experience in a customer services role is desirable.
