St John’s College wishes to appoint a Scholarships & International Administrator to provide a comprehensive and high-level administrative service for student financial assistance, undergraduate scholarships and international programmes.
The role is responsible for managing the administration of the undergraduate scholarships programme, which includes scholarships, bursaries and awards, as well as summer funding and opportunities for students. You will also manage all processes relating to student financial shortfall assistance support. The role manages the calculations and processes required in the awarding of undergraduate scholarships and financial awards. You will design, manage and maintain various sets of data in relation to funding which you will use to analyse information and provide recommendations. You will also provide administrative support to various funding Committees, arranging and servicing meetings, providing papers and reports, and ensuring that actions are implemented. The role also fully supports the outreach work of the Director of Scholarships & International Programmes, in planning and implementing an active programme of recruitment activities.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, or with equivalent experience. Previous administrative experience is essential, along with excellent IT skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills. Candidates will have strong self-management skills, evidence of working effectively in teams, and have the ability to work well under pressure.
