Management Accountant
St John’s College, one of the largest Colleges within the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, the Management Accountant will be responsible for producing timely, accurate and complete financial information for budget holders.
The Management Accountant works closely with colleagues across the College to provide support in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and plans, and the ongoing review of financial performance and resolution of financial issues arising therefrom.
The successful candidate will be a part-qualified accountant from one of the major recognised accountancy bodies (completed at least CIMA Operational Level/ACCA Applied Knowledge), who is committed to completing their studies and to making the most of the opportunities offered by this role. They will have experience of management accounting, including production of management accounts and variance analysis, strong numerical and analytical skills, and be confident in communicating with colleagues including senior staff.
