15th?-century Oxford blind-tooled calf by the 'Floral Binder' (I.8.38)

15th-century English (Oxford?) blind-stamped calf over wooden boards, bearing a selection of characteristic floral stamps which have given the name the "Floral Binder" to the man who bound it (for stamps see Oldham's Blind-stamped English bindings, plate 18, figs. 167, 172, 174 and 168?). From Regnier's Casus longi sexti et Clementinarum (1495).

Given by William Crashaw.
