Johnians shortlisted for Millennium Prize

Amongst the three scientists shortlisted for the 2010 Millennium Technology Prize are two Johnians.

Professor Sir Richard Friend, Fellow of St John's and Cavendish Professor of Physics at the University of Cambridge, and Professor Stephen Furber, Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Manchester, have both been shortlisted for the world's largest award for technological innovation. The winner will be announced at a ceremony in Helsinki, Finland on 9 June 2010.
