Hoyle Day at St John's

Professor Sir Fred Hoyle FRS (1915-2001), Fellow of St John's College, was one of the twentieth century's most colourful and controversial scientists. Visit the Old Library on 17 October to learn more about his life.

The exhibition will be open 11am to 5pm, and at 2.30pm Dr Simon Mitton will give a talk about Hoyle's work. The day is free and open to all. Places at the talk must be booked in advance. For more information see [::|CMS_URL_HOST|::]library/special_collections/hoyle/future_events/.
