Hear My Words - New Choir CD Released

Available to Purchase from the Choir Website

This new release of Choral Classics from St John's spans nearly 500 years of choral music. The earliest pieces date from the first half of the sixteenth century and the most recent from 2007. The styles and genres vary but there are clear links between the works throughout. Several are based on texts from the psalms and the works by Rachmaninov, Part and Parsons display radically different interpretations of the Ave Maria. The programme also includes Allegri's Miserere, Greig's Ave Maria Stella, Stanford's Jubilate and Vaughan Williams' O Taste and See.
