Salary:                 Between £21,418.83 – £23,235.77 p.a. (depending on experience) pro rata plus benefits

St John’s College, one of the largest Colleges within the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a Custodian to join the College’s Porters Department.

The post is responsible for providing a welcoming reception service to members of the College and visitors and to oversee the safety of those living and working the College and the security of College buildings and properties.

The successful candidates will have previous experience of working in a customer-related environment together with excellent communication skills and the ability to work on his/her own initiative.  A calm and flexible attitude is essential.
