Salary:                  £23,231.63 - £25,894.72 p.a. pro rata (depending on experience) plus benefits

St John’s College is looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant (Operations and Enterprises) to join the College’s Finance Department.

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the College’s and its subsidiaries’ nominal and sub-ledgers, including cash management, VAT and month end routines. The post-holder will be required to address any issues that arise whilst conforming to all relevant financial regulations.

The successful candidate will be AAT Qualified, studying towards AAT qualification or have equivalent experience of working in accounts, as well as practical experience of Sage Line 200 and/or equivalent accounting software. A high degree of IT literacy is required and prior experience of payroll would be advantageous but is not essential.
