An Afternoon with the Appels

A weekly series of concerts with St John's student Leo Appel and his family.

This week the family will perform a programme of Bach, Vivaldi, Fauré, Elgar and some of their favourite klezmer tunes to dance to!

They have chosen Plan International as this week’s charity. Plan International is a children’s charity that strives to advance children’s rights and equality for girls all over the world. It works with partners in more than 45 countries making sure that children in some of the poorest communities are safe and protected from violence. It has a Coronavirus Children’s Emergency Appeal to help children and families during the pandemic: scaling up work in refugee camps and for vital child protection services, helping to supply hygiene kits and clean water to families and ensuring that children keep learning even when schools close.
