Michaelmas Term 2024
The Twentieth Sunday after Trinity
Sunday 13 October 2024, 10.30am
Preacher: The Rev'd Pippa White
Assistant Curate of Fauls, Tilstock and Whitchurch in Lichfield Diocese
The Rev'd Pippa White is the curate for Fauls, Tilstock and Whitchurch, a rural benefice in Shropshire. Born and raised in the depths of Norfolk, she refuses to live anywhere that has a low livestock-to-people ratio. She studied History as an undergraduate at Keele University, with a particular interest in the mediaeval era, and spent Wednesday afternoons on the lacrosse pitch. She trained for ministry at Westcott House, and now as a priest in her 20s Pippa’s ministry naturally tends towards children and young adults (and making a fool of herself on TikTok). Pippa’s hobbies have a common theme of ‘equal parts brave and stupid’, with rugby, horse-riding, and wild swimming being the main three. Freddie, her loyal spaniel, continues to steal the show in her benefice.
