This free programme is aimed at students who are academically high-performing and interested in finding out more about progressing to Cambridge or other leading universities.
The visit days are multi-school in-person events for pupils and teachers to meet current undergraduates, hear from our Admissions team about applying, take part in an activity, and enjoy a lunch in College.
We run separate days for Year 11 student and Year 12 students. Priority is given to schools and colleges from the maintained sector and those from outside London and the South-East.
Teachers should apply by 9am on Monday 12 January 2026 for our February 2026 and March 2026 Visit Days. The registration form may close earlier if the event is fully booked.
10.15am-10.45am: Arrivals and refreshments
10.45am-12pm: Informative talk and Q&A about Cambridge applications and admissions
12pm-12.30pm: College tour led by St John’s students
12.30pm-1.15pm: Lunch
1.15pm-2pm: Q&A with current students
2pm-3pm: Afternoon activity – this will not include subject-specific academic sessions
3pm: Departure
Teachers can register interest in attending our visit days using the links below. The forms will allow you to select any and all dates you are interested in attending, but please note you will only be allocated places at one visit day:
