    Vellum, 9.375 x 6.5, ff. 108 + 4, double columns of 50 lines.  Early 13th

cent., well written.

    Old binding, skin over flat boards: on 2nd cover 175.  Petrus in

aurora (xiv?).

    Two flyleaves at each end are from a medical manuscript in a beautiful

small minuscule of the 11th cent.? probably Italian.  On f. iia we have:

                                       Inc. prol. Galieni de pulsu et urinis.

                                       De intelligentia et specie urinarum, etc.

    At top of f. 1, as on the cover, is ‘175’; not unlike marks I have seen in books from Holmcultram.
