Thomas Holland received a BA from the University of Dundee, and an MA from University College London. He is finishing a PhD at King's College, Cambridge, previously funded by an AHRC & King's College Studentship, and has been a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University.
Thomas Holland's research has focused on the history of political thought, particularly on ideas of liberalism and the politics of inequality. His thesis explores political theories of inherited wealth and distributive justice between the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, from J. S. Mill to John Rawls.
