Lees is Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Cambridge, a Fellow of St John's College and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers. In Cambridge, she leads the Concrete Infrastructure Research Group within the Civil Engineering Division. She is a Director of Cambridge’s EPSRC Centres for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Future Infrastructure and Built Environment (FIBE2 & FIBE3) and was awarded an EPSRC Established Career Fellowship (2017-23) to pursue ideas on tailored reinforced concrete infrastructure.
Professor Lees teaches on Part IB Engineering – Structures.
