Adrian received his BSc and MPhil degrees from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and his PhD from King’s College London. He subsequently held postdoctoral research appointments at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Cambridge, where he was a Herchel Smith Research Fellow in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. Before becoming a Fellow of St John’s, he was a College Research Associate of the College.
Adrian supervises students in applied mathematics subjects in the Mathematical Tripos and will serve as Director of Studies in Applied Mathematics from Lent Term 2027.
