Epiphany Carol Services

EpiphanyThe next Epiphany Carol Services will be held on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 January 2022 at 6.00pm.

This Candlelit Service of readings and music celebrate the season of Epiphany.

Music in previous years have included Deo Gracias (Britten (arr. Harrison)), That yonge child (Britten), In the bleak midwinter (Darke), A Gallery Carol (Gardner), Nunc Dimittis (Holst), I saw three ships (arr. Marshall), One star, at last (Maxwell Davies), Sleep, little Jesus, sleep (Panufnik), There is no rose (Pott), The Lamb (Tavener) and The Seven Joys (Whitehead). The readings and hymns tell the narrative of the coming of Christ, the Magi’s visit, and the presentation in the Temple.

Tickets for these services are free, however priority will be given to members of the College.

 

For the safety of our congregations, we ask that you each take a Lateral Flow Test 48 hours prior to the Service. If you test positive we would ask you to seek a PCR test and not attend College until this has returned negative, or you have isolated in accordance to the guidance issued by the NHS.
 
Owing to the anticipated attendance level at these services, we are unable to offer any seats that will guarantee social distancing.
