The Master’s Concert Series returns with a recital by Carlo Grante, one of Italy’s foremost pianists.

He has performed in such venues as the Vienna Musikverein, the Berlin Philharmonie, London’s Wigmore Hall and Barbican Hall, and the Leipzig Gewandhaus, as well as at Lincoln Center (New York) and the Kennedy Center (Washington, DC). Grante has appeared as a soloist with major orchestras including the Dresden Staatskapelle, London’s Royal Philharmonic, the Vienna Symphony and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.

Some of Grante’s recent recordings have been devoted to the works of Scarlatti, Schubert and Brahms. He is currently recording all of Mozart’s piano sonatas, and this concert will present a selection of them.

The concert will be followed by a drinks reception in the Old Divinity School’s Central Hall.

8.45pm for 9pm. Free entry, booking is not required.
