Corfield Court

The opening of Corfield Court (located within the triangular site formed by Bridge Street, St John's Street and All Saints' Passage) on 21 July 2009 was a notable event in the history of St John’s. Not only is the College now able to offer some exceptional graduate accommodation and teaching sets, the day also provided an opportunity to acknowledge the vision and generosity of Nick Corfield (Maths, BA 1981). In a short ceremony both the Master and Marc Feigen (History, MPhil, 1986) paid tribute to Nick and all he had done for the College over recent years. Nick, accompanied by members of his family, then unveiled a handsome plaque to mark the occasion, and thus a Court was named after an individual for the first time in the College’s history.
