St John’s Biodiversity BioBlitz

Co-ordinated by the JCR and SBR Environment Officers, the first St John’s ‘BioBlitz’ drop-in event will take place on the College Paddock.
All College Fellows, students and staff as well as their families/guests are welcome.
The aim of the event is to discover, and identify some of the wildlife species that are using the gardens at St John's.
Participants will be encouraged to use the iRecord app to log photos of species they find, particularly plants and invertebrates (easy to photo), but also lists will be made of other species including birds and mammals seen during the day.
Small, supervised events will be held such as pond-dipping in the College pond, bird walks and insect trapping.
