Sous Chef

St John’s College is looking to appoint a Sous Chef to join its busy Catering Department. The postholder will assist the Head Chef in ensuring the preparation of food is to a high quality, for members of College as well as high profile events.

 

The College is very well respected within the hospitality industry and has a high reputation for its food and service which we are always looking to improve upon. All staff are fully trained in allergy awareness, and the College is a member of the Sustainable Restaurants Association and TUCO.

 

You will be qualified to NVQ3 level, City & Guilds 7061, 7062 and 7063 or equivalent together with previous relevant experience, and will hold an intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate. Knowledge of HACCP principles and COSHH regulations are essential.
