Epiphany Carol Service I

A candlelit service of readings and music to celebrate the season of Epiphany.

Music this year includes Tomorrow shall be my dancing day (Burton), The Shepherd’s Carol (Chilcott), Three Kings from Persian lands afar (Cornelius (arr, Atkins)), Nunc Dimittis (Holst), Vox in Rama (Kirbye), O virgo virginum (L’Estrange), In the bleak midwinter (McGlade), Jesus Christ, the Apple Tree (Poston), Hodie Christus natus est (Poulenc), Make we joy (Robinson) and Ding, dong, merrily on high (arr. Wilberg). The readings and hymns tell the narrative of the coming of Christ, the Magi’s visit, and the presentation in the Temple.
