Covid-19 advice and guidance for the use of the hard courts

• Any person wanting to use the hard courts must book a court in advance. Time slots are for 90 minutes and can be booked by emailing k.p.ellis@joh.cam.ac.uk or phoning 07704537496. Please note that 24 hours’ notice is required; emails are looked at between 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
• For tennis: on arrival please sanitise your hands and then select a vacant court. You may have to move tennis posts into place. You may bring up to three guests for casual tennis and a maximum of 12 for league and cup games. You are responsible for making a note of the date and the names of the people who are with you; this must be kept for 30 days for track and trace purposes.
• Any person wishing to book a tennis court or basketball court by email should do the following: give their full name, College, time, which sport, and number of guests up to 3 (this can be done by putting +1, +2 or +3). All emails will remain unanswered unless there is an issue with the booking. Please note: emails are the preferred option but if you are unable to send an email, you can also send a text message with the same details as you would put on an email to 07704537496.
• For basketball: on arrival please sanitise your hands. You may bring up to three guests. You are responsible for making a note of the date and the names of people who are with you; this must be kept for 30 days for track and trace purposes
• For netball: on arrival please sanitise your hands then select a vacant court. You may have to put netball posts into place. In total you are allowed to have a maximum of 30 people which must include all players substitutes and match officials. You are responsible for making a note of the date and the names of all people who are with you; this must be kept for 30 days for track and trace purposes.
• At the end of play all equipment must be removed from the courts and placed back around the outer edge of the hard courts.
• When exiting the hard courts please remember to sanitise your hands.
