St John’s College, one of the largest Colleges within the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a Builder into its dynamic and friendly maintenance team.

The successful post holder will carry out maintenance and improvements to College properties by undertaking day to day building tasks, carry out repairs and alterations to College properties in regards to all wet trades and be involved in all aspects of general building work internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will hold an appropriate qualification/approved training course such as City and Guilds, NVQ or an apprenticeship, have proven and recorded trade skills such as plastering, rendering, bricklaying, flooring and paving as well as experience of working within the construction industry and a full UK driving license.
