University and Departmental Prizes - June 2016

Four St John's College students have been awarded prizes by the University or other academic institutions thanks to their excellent work and achievements: James Devine-Stoneman, Minaam Abbas, Tanmay Dixit, and Caroline Soderman.

James Devine-Stoneman, 4th year undergraduate in Natural Sciences, was awarded the Goldsmith Prize and Medal in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy.

Minaam Abbas, 3rd year Natural Sciences undergraduate, won the Cambridge Neuroscience Prize for Best Overall Performance.

Tanmay Dixit, 2nd year undergraduate in Natural Sciences, was awarded the Drewitt Prize in Ecology.

Caroline Soderman, 2nd year Natural Sciences undergraduate, won the University’s Wilstshire Prize – Geology.
