 St John’s College, Cambridge Quincentenary Lecture by PROFESSOR SIR MERVYN KING, GBE FBA Governor of the Bank of England “The Global Financial Crisis” Friday 25 November at 5 pm in the Palmerston Room, Fisher Building, preceded by tea at 4.15 pm in the Fisher Building foyer. All members of the University are warmly invited to attend. Parking will be available on the College’s playing field, off Queens Road, and the gates will remain open until 8.30 pm.

We are delighted to publish the full programme for the Quincentenary Weeks. Booking for both weeks will open on Monday, 4 April, in order to allow Johnians around the world to receive copies of the brochure and booking form.

The Choir of St John's College Cambridge will be performing Haydn's Creation in the College Chapel on Monday 14th February at 7.30pm, and at St John's Smith Square in London on Friday 18th February at 7.30pm.  The Choir will be joined by the highly acclaimed Britten Sinfonia and leading UK soloists, including Allan Clayton (a former Choral Scholar), Rebecca Evans, and Neal Davies.  The conductor will be our Director of Music, Andrew Nethsingha. These events form part of the College's Quincentenary celebrations.
