Mary Gray Studentship

A fully funded scholarship will be offered to a current grade 12 pupil of Bishops Diocesan College in Cape Town, who will come to St John’s College for undergraduate studies. The award will be made on the basis of academic excellence. The Mary Gray studentship will cover full University fees, College fees and maintenance of at least £13,440 per annum, as well as Visa costs and one return flight to their home every year.

Eligibility

All applicants from Bishops, who receive an offer to study at St John’s College for an undergraduate degree, are eligible to be considered for the studentship. The studentship will be open to all subjects, excluding Medicine and Veterinary Medicine.

Application Procedure

The applicants should go through the normal admissions application procedure for the University of Cambridge. They should declare St John’s College as their first preference. Please note that the deadline for submitting a UCAS application, in order to apply for admission to St John’s in October 2017, is 15th October 2016, 6 pm (UK time).

Following the admissions interviews, all eligible offer holders will be notified by the College and asked to fill in an application form. The Studentship will be awarded by the College in liaison with the school.
