[Edwin Abbott Abbott (1838-1926)]: typescript copy of Tatiani Evangeliorum Harmoniae Arabice (1888), with manuscript annotations. Typescript text includes Arabic text and Latin translation by P. Augustinus Ciasca. Abbott was a student and later Fellow of St John’s College, where he studied classics, mathematics and theology.

310x221 mm. Folio approx. [333] pages. Paper. Leather-backed boards with marbled endpapers. College bookplate and bookplate belonging to E.A. Abbott on inside front board. Secured with white cloth tie.
