Unpointed Hebrew. 23 columns of 18 lines.

An accompanying note reads 'The Ester scroll probably end of 17th cent., oriental handwriting. The MS is complete and perfect condition.'

'Presented by the late Prof. Selwyn' (Pencil note in the Library's annotated copy of Morgan Cowie's A descriptive catalogue of the manuscripts and scarce books in the Library of St John's College, Cambridge. Cambridge, 1842, p.106). This must be William Selwyn (1806-75).
