An Arabic hama'il, or talisman for wearing as a belt, containing the names of the Twelve Imams.

A card with the scroll reads 'MS Koran, (Amulet or Phylactery) purchased of a Mogul who came from Cabul. Sept. 1845. Presented by the Revd. R. Hawes B.D. Oct. 1865.'
