Given by Christian Raue (1613-77, theologian and orientalist) in 1641 according to an inscription on fos 82v-83r:

'Christianus Rauius N.G. Berlinensis Marchicus Collegio florentissimo S. Johannis in et famosissima et antiquissima Academia Cantabrigiensi Orientalium Linguarum studiis celeberrima hoc Manuscriptum Persico Turcicum in Bibliothecam eius Collegii reponendum Dono misit Londino 30 Xb 1641.

1. Pöeta Suavissimus Turcicus nomine Ahmed Tab Tarah.
2. Epistolica instructio persica, qua et elegantissimus eius linguae stylus continetur, et multa artificia demonstrantur ad eleganter inchoandum & claudendam epistolam persicam. In tali genere flosculorum persae sunt ad stuporem admirandi, ita suavissime scribunt, ut in his palmam omnibus nationibus praeripere velle videantur.
