    All these tracts are now to be found in B.25, which evidently once

formed part of the present MS.

    The titles of Boethius, etc. are added in a later 13th cent. hand, Athanasius being

 last.

       At top of f. 1 an inscription eaten away, of the 16th –17th cent., ending pro xls..

       At bottom a mark like those on the flyleaf:     .  The signs used for reference-

With regard to the marks mentioned in the last paragraph above, these signs are in the hand of Robert Grosseteste, and belong to a series specially used by him. This MS therefore belonged to him. See also MS B.25 (47).
