Maintenance Costs
Undergraduates at St John’s normally live in College accommodation for all three (or, in some cases, four) years leading up to the BA Degree. The room license normally runs from October to June.
Students will incur certain maintenance charges and these will vary considerably. An estimate of these costs is provided below:
| Rooms and Service in College | £2,900 - £4,000 annually (estimate) |
| Kitchen Fixed Charge | £500 annually (estimate) |
| Meals | £1,500 - £1,800 annually (estimate) |
In addition, it will be necessary to cover costs of clothes, books, travel, entertainment etc and this will usually bring the total maintenance figure up to around £6,500 - £8,000 per annum.
